The position is responsible for general custodial and light maintenance duties throughout the community.
Assist with event preparation, set-up, cleanliness, and tear down of community events, and cleanliness of common areas.
Empty trash receptacles throughout the community and inspect for general cleanliness of common areas.
Repair minor electrical issues, i.e., light bulbs, switches, etc.
Repair minor plumbing problems, i.e., unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, including leaky faucets and water fountains.
Assume additional and special duties assigned or required to maintain cleanliness and safety of Association buildings and grounds. Such as, but not limited to, tidying up pool furniture/umbrellas, clean pool tables and loungers. Assisting the Manager with Pool(s) monitoring, such as enforcing rules and removing unruly patrons, sweep/mop/dust/empty trash/power wash Clubhouse seating areas and parking lot. Change filters, move miscellaneous items to/from storage facility, pick up supplies as needed, general pest control
Keep staff members informed of the status of equipment and maintenance needed or performed on the property.
Work week/month to be discussed and agreed upon by Community Manager and Employee and based on community needs.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess general maintenance/handyman skills: Use of basic tools.
Must have dependable transportation, clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check.
