Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in a small classroom environment. This role requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
•
Perform thorough cleaning classroom, conference room, office space and restrooms.
•
Manage Porter tasks including dusting, vacuuming, Sweeping, mopping, disinfecting restrooms, collecting and disposing of trash, cleaning glass and sanitizing surfaces.
•
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
•
Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
•
Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services is helpful.
•
Knowledge of floor care practices is helpful.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
•
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor suitable for retail environments.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
Position work schedule is Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday 7:30pm to 9:30pm
