Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role involves performing custodial duties, floor care, and general maintenance tasks to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
•
Restroom sanitation in office area and dock area
•
Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
•
Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and office spaces to provide a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
•
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
•
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
•
Previous experience in custodial or porter roles is required.
•
Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
•
Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing is highly desirable.
•
Experience in residential painting or general maintenance tasks is beneficial.
•
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work environment consistently.
•
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
