Overview
Kindness General Contractors, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. The Day Porter will ensure that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for both staff and visitors.
Duties
•
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and entrances.
•
Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, polishing surfaces.
•
Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
•
Respond promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance assistance from staff or management.
•
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
•
Report issues (e.g. Plumbing, maintenance)
•
Monitor and restock restroom and cleaning supplies (supplies provided by company)
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, modified, or changed at any time at the Company’s discretion. Changes may be made formally or informally, either verbally or in writing
Knowledge and Skills
•
Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
•
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
•
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
•
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
•
A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
•
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on feet for extended periods
•
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
