Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and care of residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
•
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing walls.
•
Monitor water chemistry and adjust chemical levels as needed to ensure safe swimming conditions.
•
Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters; perform minor repairs or replacements as necessary.
•
Maintain surrounding areas by mowing lawns, trimming trees, and performing general groundskeeping tasks.
•
Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, digging, and caring for trees and shrubs.
•
Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.
•
Document all services performed for each pool visit accurately.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in pool maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
•
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, digging, and standing for extended periods.
•
Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, tree trimming, and general landscape maintenance is a plus.
•
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
