Title: Plumber II Facility Svc Company: Tampa Electric Company State and City: Florida - Tampa Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 Days

POSITION CONCEPT:

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all plumbing fixtures. Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drainage systems. The employee shall be capable of acting as a leaderman in working and leading plumbing projects. This position requires the individual to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish the assigned work. Ensures all completed work complies with Safe Work Practices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION: Required: Valid High School Diploma or valid GED

EXPERIENCE: Required: Must have 10 years of related plumbing experience.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Required: Must have completed and received certification through a State accredited Plumbing Vocational/Technical program or received a Union Journeyman Plumbers card. Must have proficient knowledge of the “Plumbing Code”. Must possess a Back Flow Inspection and Testing Certification. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a valid Florida Drivers License.
