We are a local construction company looking for a Pipe Foreman to join our team.
This is a long-term position located in the Central Willamette Valley, Oregon with minimal out-of-town work. Our work week is usually 40 hours with some overtime as projects require it. May require occasional weekend work depending on projects.
Job Duties
•
Order materials and equipment for projects as required
•
Complete routine job paperwork in a timely manner
•
Conduct job-site safety meetings and client permitting processes
•
Ensure crew is on-task and safe and that workmanship meets quality standards
•
Support company morale and maintain a positive “can do” attitude
•
Provide mentoring to apprentices and new hires
•
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines
•
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
•
Select pipe sizes and types according to specifications
•
Modify and maintain pipe systems and related machines and equipment using hand and power tools
•
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
•
Oregon Boiler License Class 5 preferred
•
Pipe fitter experience – 4 years preferred
•
Supervisory/Foreman experience – 2 years preferred
•
Hold a valid and clean driver’s license
•
Understand and interpret blueprints, P&ID, and isometric pipe drawings
•
Knowledge of welding processes – TIG, MIG and SMAW
•
Must be dependable – first to arrive and last to leave site
•
You will be required to demonstrate competency in these areas by completing a basic pipefitter test
