Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be proficient in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Plumber will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.

- Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe threading, assembly, and remodeling of existing systems.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete plumbing installations and repairs.

- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.

- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines.

- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing needs and solutions.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.

- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks.

- Experience with HVAC systems is beneficial.

- Proficient in basic math for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.

- Previous experience on construction sites is preferred, along with maintenance person experience for general repairs.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Pay: $27.25 - $32.81 per hour
