Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of employees to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

•

Manage daily operations of the plant, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality standards.

•

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

•

Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

•

Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

•

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

•

Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to optimize operations.

•

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

•

Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

•

Prepare reports on production performance, safety incidents, and other key metrics for upper management.

Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field is preferred.

•

Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment; previous management experience is highly desirable.

•

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

•

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

•

Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics; experience with manufacturing software is a plus.

•

Strong knowledge of aluminum extrusion and fabrication, or previous experience required.

•

The ability to contribute to or manage Facilities & Maintenance operations, including the Tool Crib, ensuring adequate tooling, equipment, and effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices, is a plus.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

•

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

•

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
