Planner/Scheduler

Position Summary:

The Scheduler/Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating detailed schedules and work plans to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance, service, or construction projects. This role coordinates resources, monitors progress, and supports the operations team to meet project timelines, resource availability, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain project or maintenance schedules using scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or CMMS).

Coordinate daily and weekly work plans based on technician availability, material readiness, and job priorities.

Track progress against schedules and adjust timelines or resources as needed.

Communicate schedule updates to project managers, supervisors, and field staff.

Ensure labor, equipment, and materials are aligned for each scheduled task.

Analyze historical data to forecast labor demands and project durations.

Support reporting, planning meetings, and the development of look-ahead schedules.

Maintain accurate records of scheduled vs. completed work.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in scheduling, planning, or dispatching in construction, facilities, or service environments.

Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or CMMS platforms.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines.
