Base Power Company is looking for a Deployment Operations Specialist to manage sales order fulfillment, coordinate manufacturing for kitting, and oversee logistics operations for last-mile delivery and inter-warehouse transfers. This role ensures efficient movement of goods, manages return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), and provides key operational reporting. This is an hourly position that includes weekend coverage and is essential to maintaining a strong project pipeline and supporting Base Power's rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate sales order processing.
- Create and manage manufacturing orders for kitting and assembly.
- Schedule and coordinate last-mile delivery logistics, including both internal and external partners.
- Oversee inter-warehouse logistics to optimize inventory movement and stock availability.
- Manage RMA tracking, ensuring traceability and resolution of returns and replacements.
- Generate and distribute weekly reports on completed orders and logistics performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability in order fulfillment, logistics, and manufacturing workflows.- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with order management, fulfillment, and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and inventory management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and optimize operational workflows.
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly kitting and assembly.
- Understanding of RMA processes and traceability best practices.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis for supply chain performance.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
