CAD Control Systems, a leader in the development, design, and manufacturing of BOP Control Systems, is seeking a highly motivated and technically knowledgeable

Sales Representative

to join our team, focusing on the Permian Basin. This individual will be responsible for proactively engaging with drilling rigs and frac companies daily, promoting our comprehensive suite of field services and manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their drilling and production background to identify customer needs, gather operational data, and develop tailored solutions that drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Permian Basin Drilling and Production Sales Representative

Location:

Permian Basin, Texas;

While this position is listed as remote, this role requires proximity to the Permian Basin and candidates must reside within this area.* Key Responsibilities Include Customer Engagement & Field Outreach

- Make 8 to 10 targeted calls daily to drilling rigs, frac units, well servicing companies, and production operators in the Permian Basin.

- Establish rapport and present value-driven solutions.


Operational Data Collection

- Gather operational data on equipment performance, service needs, and upcoming projects.


Relationship Building

- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers such as rig managers, frac supervisors, and field operators.


Sales & Business Development

- Use gathered data to identify new opportunities for field services and manufacturing solutions.

- Present customized proposals aligned with customer operational goals.


Technical Consultation & Solutions Selling

- Apply your drilling and production expertise to recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.


Market & Competitor Intelligence

- Collect insights on customer feedback, industry trends, and competitor activities during daily interactions, and communicate findings to internal teams.


Sales Planning & Reporting

- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, equipment needs, service opportunities, and sales pipeline using CRM tools. Develop strategic plans based on field insights.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately understood and fulfilled.


Safety & Compliance

- Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies during field activities and customer engagements.


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required and an Associate or Bachelor of Science in

Marketing, Business or Management preferred, or equivalent education and work experience.

- 3-5 years of sales experience in upstream oil & gas, particularly with drilling, completions, or production services.

- Demonstrated success calling on multiple customers daily in the field.

- Experience gathering operational data and assessing customer needs.

- Strong understanding of drilling and production operations, equipment, and services.

- Ability to analyze operational data to recommend effective solutions.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume daily calling schedule.

- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


Additional Requirements

- Willingness to travel extensively within the Permian Basin.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical & Environmental Conditions

This role involves frequent outdoor field visits, often in rugged environments, requiring resilience to various weather conditions and strict adherence to safety standards.
