Performance Operations, Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Performance Operations to oversee monitoring and evaluation of the performance of MN8’s portfolio of solar assets. This role will be responsible for optimizing the output of the solar assets by collaborating with different teams and driving actionable and cost-effective improvement plans.

- Monitor and evaluate portfolio’s operational performance, interpret KPIs and dashboards

- Identify underperforming assets and equipment offline often at sub-inverter level, investigate causes and suggest actionable resolution plans

- Create and analyze CMMS reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for operational improvements

- Develop data-centric dashboards and reports to internal stakeholders and management

- Analyze equipment failures for trends and perform root cause analysis

- Troubleshoot and drive resolution on complex technical issues

- Facilitate operational changes as necessary to improve performance

- Support project-based initiatives and pilot programs

- Liaison between corporate performance analytics team and different O&M teams

- Support on-boarding assets into the O&M portfolio

- Perform other duties as may be required

Systems & Analytics

:

- Expert knowledge of solar data acquisition systems, specifically AE’s PowerTrack and PowerFactors

- Experience with Salesforce or other CMMS platforms would be plus

- Experience using VB, Python, SQL or similar programming languages

Team Leadership

:

- Manage and develop a team of performance operations analysts and senior analysts

- Foster cross-functional collaboration to streamline performance operations processes and support organizational goals.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations of solar PV assets, with focus on performance evaluation

- Engineering, science, mathematics, finance or otherwise relevant bachelors’ degree. Advanced technical degree would be plus

- Strong understanding of performance evaluation of solar PV assets, experience with BESS would be plus

- Outstanding analytical skills, ability to interpret large amounts of data

- Understanding of solar O&M processes

- Baseline understanding of business and financial matters

- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

- Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools and other relevant technology platforms
