Respectfully perform all aspects of tasks associated with inside and outside sales of products, parts, and services that meet the requirements of WPI customers. Efficiently multitask in a fast-past, customer centric environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all parts, products and equipment throughout the branch.
- Utilize JD Edwards software to manage parts, orders, open and close jobs.
- Maintain an organized and clean parts room daily
- Take customer orders or quotes by phone, fax, e-mail, or walk-in
- Analyze orders for accuracy, cross reference by serial number, enter orders in to WPI system
- Assist in keeping work area neat & clean
- Receive stock orders into system
- Purchase stock items as needed for daily job activities.
- Assist in updating files, books and customer information
- Available for callout after 6 months from hire
- Receive emergency orders from vendors & update customer orders
- Attend training classes to increase product knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some mechanical background or knowledge preferred
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
- Must have ability to maintain confidential information
- Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows based environment
- Must be dependable and work independent
- Must maintain good client relations
- Must have the ability to effectively operate various types of office equipment (fax, scanner, printer copier, etc.).
- Must have the ability to effectively operate forklift
