Job description
We are looking for a part-time (up to 30 hours a week) Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.
Responsibilities:
•Repair & fabrication on semi-trucks, mobile equipment, and other ISC equipment
•Specialize in vehicle/equipment transmission, motor, electrical, hydraulic, brake, & suspension systems
•Review of the Daily Driver Inspection Reports for follow-up repairs
•Perform routine vehicle/equipment maintenance
•Use diagnostic tools to detect engine or electrical issues
•Handle complex electrical systems, sensors, and fuel injection systems
•Perform quality inspections
•Experience with extendable trailers and steer dollies
•Maintain a Log of all equipment noting inspections and condition of equipment
•Assisting maintenance & trucking departments with equipment/facility repairs
Qualifications:
•Must be Experienced in Diesel Engine Repairs
•Experience with Air Systems of Over the Road Tractor Trailer Rigs
•Experience with Industrial Manlifts, Scissor Lifts, & Mobile Cranes
•Familiar with D.O.T. Regulations for over the road Trucks
•Previous experience as a mechanic
•Knowledge of shop equipment
•Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
•Deadline and detail-oriented
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
•Must have own toolbox with tools
Job Type: Part-time with potential to become Full-time
Pay: $30-32 hour based on 30 hour work week
