We are currently seeking a Painter (for our paint booth) for 1st Shift at our Cincinnati, OH facility. In this role, you’ll provide daily support to our Tool Assembly team. This role offers on the job training and is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, who's comfortable wearing a respirator, and enjoys working with a dynamic team.

Position Title: Painter

Responsible to: Tool Manager

Scope: Unpacking, inspecting, setting up, painting, and repacking various types of fasteners under the direction of the department manager.

Date: January 19, 2024

Basic Function: Supports the company through various duties, including, but not limited to, material handling, unpacking and repackaging products, painting, and cleaning.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Maintain a safe working environment.

- Under the supervisor's direction, unpack, inspect, set up, and repackage various fasteners.

- Prepare and complete source documents for labor and inventory transactions.

- Follow step-by-step instructions to complete department tasks promptly.

- Cleaning the shelves used for painting.

- Complete any other job responsibilities.

- Have flexibility to work in all Tool Department areas.

- Under the supervisor's direction, unpack, inspect, set up, paint, and repackage various fasteners.

- Process and fulfill paint orders.

- Follow the step-by-step instructions for mixing paint.

- Ability to paint various fasteners safely.

- Ability to safely operate and clean the paint booth and spray paint gun.

Qualifications:

- Must have well-rounded communication skills.

- Use of lift and hand trucks; training provided if needed.

- Must be able to work well in a team environment.

- Must be able to read and write.

- Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent.

Requirements:

- Ability to stand for 100%, lift, and bend for 75% of your entire shift.

- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

- Must be able to withstand paint fumes.

- Must be able to meet the daily production quota.

- Must be able to stay on task with minimum supervision.

- Depending on the company's needs, you must be able to work overtime and weekends when asked.

- Must be able to use both hands to handle the material required for this position.

- Requires a high degree of mental concentration.

- Requires a high level for attention to detail.

- Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

- Must be able to withstand paint fumes; ventilation and respirator are provided.
