- At least 1 year of experience with a 20-ton crane or larger with single or dual hoists (cab-driven).
- The typical duties of manufacturing overhead crane operator revolve around the safe and efficient movement of heavy materials and finished products within a factory setting. They must combine hands-on operation with strict adherence to safety protocols and regular equipment inspections.
- Move and position materials: Operators use levers, pedals, and buttons inside the cab to precisely control the crane's hoist and trolley, lifting and transporting items like steel plates, and other goods.
- Follow work orders: Operators read work orders and delivery schedules to determine the correct sequence for moving materials and to stage for next process.
- Wage Range based on years of experience: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.
