JOB SUMMARY
The Originations Coordinator plays a key role in managing the intake and processing of loan opportunities submitted through FlipCo’s house accounts and preferred broker partners. This individual is responsible for conducting a preliminary review of deal submissions, managing documentation for underwriting, coordinating communication between borrowers, brokers, and internal teams, and supporting the file through closing.
This is a hybrid position blending elements of transaction coordination, sales support, and relationship management — ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who thrives in fast-paced, deal-driven environments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for FlipCo house accounts and top-tier broker partners
- Review inbound loan submissions to confirm alignment with FlipCo lending guidelines
- Perform preliminary file assessments and flag potential issues before underwriting review
- Collect, organize, and manage all documentation required for underwriting and loan approval
- Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with borrowers and brokers throughout the origination process
- Coordinate with internal underwriting, draw, and processing teams to ensure timely movement of files
- Educate broker partners through regular check-ins and trainings to improve submission quality and increase volume
- Identify trends in broker behavior or borrower deal quality and offer insights to help guide internal process improvements- 5+ years of experience in real estate, finance, lending, or a related field
- Strong understanding of real estate investing, lending principles, or loan processing workflows
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRMs, document management platforms, and project tracking tools
- Successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines.
- All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
