POSITION SUMMARY:

Marathon Petroleum Company LP’s subsidiary, Cincinnati Renewable Fuels LLC, has an Operator Technician position available in Cincinnati, OH.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Sampling inbound trucks and assisting drivers

- Loading railcars

- Monitoring Utilities Wastewater System

- Operate control system and respond to alarms

- Handle 20% caustic totes

- Tank gauging and sampling

- Issuance of work permits

- Troubleshooting equipment

- Basic site security including permitter rounds, opening gates, and monitoring cameras

- Emergency response for spills, etc

- Housekeeping, minor maintenance, and other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A high school diploma or GED is required.

- Basic computer, math, and verbal skills are required.

- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in all weather conditions is required.

- Ability to work overtime as needed is required.

- Ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems to perform logistics tasks is required.

- Ability to learn basic maintenance skills is required.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Successful applicants must be fit to perform the essential functions of the job and adhere to a strict Drug and Alcohol policy.

- Successful applicants will also be required to pass pre-employment testing.

- Upon employment, candidates are required to join the Employees’ Representation Association (ERA).

- Vocational technical training is preferred.

- 2 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.

- 5 years of stable work experience in a light industrial or commercial industry setting is preferred.

COMPENSATION:

Starting compensation will be $20.35 – $32.83 per hour, depending on experience.
