Position Overview:

The Operations Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of solar systems. This position involves working directly with installation teams, conducting site surveys, diagnosing system issues, and supporting the day-to-day operations of ARF Solar's projects. Key Responsibilities:

- Commissioning Solar Systems: Perform post-construction system commissioning, ensuring all components are functioning properly and systems are energized efficiently.

- Site Surveying & Inspections: Conduct pre-installation site surveys and inspections to ensure project readiness, compliance with safety standards, and proper site conditions for installation. Responsible for meeting with local municipality and Ameren inspectors after system installation.

- Maintenance & Support: Regularly inspect and maintain installation site equipment, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure ongoing system performance.

- Coordination: Work closely with installation teams to manage material and equipment orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to job sites.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and remediate faults in existing solar systems, including both hardware and software components, to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Basic Knowledge of Electrical Systems: Understanding of electrical components, wiring, and solar system functionality is a plus.

- Technical Skills: Comfortable working with electrical systems and troubleshooting faults.

- Willingness to Learn: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

- Passion for Renewable Energy: A genuine interest in solar energy and sustainability.

- Valid Driver's License: Required for travel to job sites and conducting inspections.
