Operator Assistant II (Onsite: Prudhoe Bay, AK)

The Operator Assistant II under strict supervision, learns basic oil well operations including but not limited to drilling fluids and solids control operations.

- Pay Rate: Up to $18.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.

- Shift Details: 13-hour shift | 3x3 rotation | Day/Night shift

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the setup and dismantling of service equipment.

- Operate equipment including shale shakers, centrifuges, and slurrification systems.

- Promote and actively participate in quality improvement processes.

- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.

- Foster safety awareness and environmental consciousness.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Must have a valid driver's license.

- Minimum of three months of relevant experience.

- Ability to effectively communicate and follow directions.

- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.

- Completion of specific Baroid training is preferred.

- Basic computer skills are preferred.

- Knowledge of basic hand tools and mechanical inclination.

Skills and Attributes:

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to maintain cleanliness and basic hygiene.

- Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of hand tools.

- Ability to perform basic math and follow directions accurately.
