The Operations Technology Innovation Lead is responsible for the collection of Voice of the Customer, identifying advancements within the industry, analyzing current and potential technology for alignment with business needs and maintaining roadmap for innovation / key technology operational use.
Where will you work: Hybrid onsite at Lithia, FL (3 days in office)
What Will You Do
•Work with business stakeholders, IT Business Partners, and other team members to understand business innovation opportunities and strategy, drive the design and modeling of solutions that support short- and long-term objectives and ensure stakeholder needs are reflected.
•Coordinate effort of business case prioritization, development and executive management approval.
•Develop and manage product roadmap.
•Define product vision, product roadmap and growth opportunities.
•Prioritize operations technology needs to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value and are aligned with operations strategy.
•Incorporate technology request into roadmap.
•Build and maintain standard valuation models.
•Assess and uplift project valuation.
•Initiate technology audits identifying gaps and actioning closure to value.
•In concert with IT, showcase new technologies across the enterprise.
•Partnering with innovation hubs globally.
•Participating and semi-annual roadshows across the organization to highlight and cascade to customers.
What Will You Need
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems required
•10+ years of relevant experience
•7+ years demonstrated experience in project management to include delivering projects from ideation to completion.
•Experience leading initiatives and /or greenfield projects.
•Strong requirements elicitation, gathering, and documentation skills, at business, functional, and technical levels
•Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions; as well as ability to facilitate large groups (in person or virtually)
•Ability to translate metrics into business decisions of importance and priorities
•Direct hands-on experience with grooming backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements
•Successful track record of delivering projects within deadlines and budgets.
