We are currently looking for an
Operational Technology Team Leadto join our Customer & Grid Intelligence team in a permanent position.
Reporting to the Operational Technology Manager, you will work with a high level of independence, lead technical teams focused on supporting distribution grid operations technologies like Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) & Geographic Information System (GIS).
Key Elements Of This Role Include
As an
Operational Technology Team Lead,you will:
- Provide expert specialist advice and support to a wide range of clients and project teams across NSP operations.
- Pilot and implement technologies that will unlock value for customers and NSP programs.
- Coordinate and liaise with external vendor partners of OT systems like Schneider Electric and Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI).
- Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and subject matter experts, both internal and external, to influence and ensure the achievement of quality outcomes.
- Lead diverse engineering teams who specialize in energy delivery and grid operational technologies.
- Champion the implementation of security best practices that safeguard operational technology networks against evolving threats.
These Skills Will Make You Successful
You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management, maintenance, engineering, or planning; experience with energy delivery technologies and power system grid operations is preferred.
- Experience with leading diverse engineering teams would be considered an asset.
- Must be a strategic thinker who can demonstrate the ability to lead and influence others through organizational change.
- Solid communication skills, a strong attention to detail and an ability to set appropriate expectations and deadlines while managing several different tasks simultaneously.
- Technical competencies in process improvement and change management.
- Hold safety paramount at all times, for self and others.
- You will be responsible for your personal safety, that of co-workers, and those under your direction by ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Ensuring Safety Program requirements are being met in a timely manner.
