- Sell solar service packages, maintenance plans, monitoring and system add-ons to residential and commercial customers.
- Conduct cold calls and outbound outreach to generate new business leads.
- Manage incoming services leads from phone calls, web inquiries, and referrals.
- Provide detailed service proposals, explain product benefits, and overcome objections.
- Negotiate and secure signed contracts and work orders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through project completion.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and service requests in CRM.
- Schedule service appointments and dispatch field technicians in coordination with operations.
- Assign resources and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Communicate daily job schedules, priorities, and updates to field staff.
- Monitor work order progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure all Service contracts are managed in the CRM pipeline and processed correctly.
- Track sales performance, service revenue, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting for all activities.
- Work on scheduling efficiencies to monetize daily activities and minimize re-rolls.
- Required:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or home services.- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Proven ability to handle high call volumes and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency with CRM and scheduling software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:
- 4+ years of field service experience and solar design.- Solar maintenance processes and management.
- Experience in field scheduling or dispatch coordination.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
