Key Responsibilities:

The Journeyman Technician will perform skilled diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and installation of oil-fired heating systems for residential and light commercial customers.

- Perform preventative maintenance, annual tune-ups, and troubleshooting on oil boilers and furnaces.

- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.

- Install new oil heating equipment, tanks, and related components.

- Participate in the rotational on-call schedule during the heating season.

- Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres strictly to Maine Fuel Board regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Valid Maine Oil Burner Journeyman License is REQUIRED.

- Proven experience in oil heating system service, maintenance, and installation.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Valid Natural gas/ LPG license a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
