This is a full-time position based at our Saskatoon Head Office – Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 4:30 pm with occasional travel to our McIlvenna Bay site.

As member of the Health and safety team, the Office / Health and Safety Administrator will provide administration support to our site-based Health & Safety team, support the VP HR, H&S and ESG in managing various communications and reporting requirements, and serve as the first point of contact for the day-to-day operations of the Regional Office.
- Oversee usage, training, and maintenance of the central H&S system (SiteDocs).
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety reports (leading/lagging indicators, action tracking).
- Facilitate compliance with legislation through tracking and reporting.
- Attend and support monthly Occupational Health & Safety meetings
- Provide admin support for incidents, injuries, WCB claims, and permit tracking.
- Assist with preparation, distribution and reporting of weekly Toolbox talks, site-wide communications, maintenance of onsite documentation (e.g. Bulletin boards).
- Manage safety glasses, boot reimbursement program.
- Lead and execute the internal employee communication plan (town halls, newsletters, leader messages, etc.).
- Act as point of contact for external clients.
- Receive and distribute office deliveries and mail as required.
- Manage company vehicle and condo ensuring standard procedures, maintenance and oversight is provided.
- Support the office as required (e.g. office specific errands, order supplies, manage cleaning contract, maintain bulletin boards).
- Coordinate meetings and office errands as required.
- All other administrative tasks as assigned and required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in office administration, health and safety, or project management.
- Diploma in Office Administration and/or Health & Safety Administrator designation is preferred.
- Experience operating Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) with strong Excel capabilities.
- Driven to positively contribute to a positive Health & Safety culture
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills.
- Proactive and self-directed approach with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage workload and work to tight deadlines in the face of changing priorities.
- Professional approach when dealing with employees and external contacts.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable industry safety standards, codes, and practices.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
- Previous experience reporting monthly KPIs is preferred.
We offer a competitive starting salary range of $65,000 - $75,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
