Machine Operator - Grafoil Fabrication Department - Lakewood, Ohio

Up to $23.05 per hour plus a Shift Premium of $2.00 per hour

Opportunity on 3rd Shift; Sunday-Thursday 10:45pm-7:00am OR 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday 2:45pm-11:00pm

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our Grafoil Fabrication Department to join our team on an off-shift - either 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift depending upon candidate preference. The primary function of these positions is to safely operate different types of equipment/machinery in order to process material and products to be shipped to customers. Note: This is not a welding/fabricator position.

PRIOR MACHINE OPERATION REQUIRED

Duties:

•

Work in a safe manner and follow all HS&EP regulations, policies and procedures.

•

Operate production equipment and machinery.

•

Adhere to all quality standards.

•

Proactively make or suggest adjustments to equipment and/or processes in order to maintain the efficient and safe production of high quality material.

•

Maintain good housekeeping in area/department.

•

Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as part of our preventative maintenance program.

•

Use rulers, micrometers, and SPC recording to check quality of material and products.

•

Perform data entry work on a computer.

•

Maintain all written records required to execute jobs.

•

Reporting maintenance requirements for equipment used.

•

Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

•

High School Diploma or GED required.

•

Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility required.

•

Previous experience operating production machinery/equipment required.

•

Previous die-cutting experience a plus.

•

Experience operating converting and automated equipment a plus.

•

Ability to work in a team environment.

•

Detail oriented.

•

Strong communication skills.

•

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, operate a variety of hand tools and operate fork lift.

Working Conditions:

•

Frequent lifting, standing, bending, twisting, stooping is required as part of this position.

•

Majority of work is performed in the manufacturing area.

Training on 1st Shift for a minimum of 90 Days before moving to 2nd/3rd Shift required*
