What We Do
The Awning Company, LLC is a family owned and operated business that specializes in the manufacturing of canvas and metal awnings. The Awning Company, LLC is a family-owned business that has been in business for over 8 years. We are currently needing a person that can read a tape measure, lift 50 pounds or more daily, able to follow directions, and can sew and cut a straight line.
Duties:
•
Operate a variety of sewing machines to complete orders
•
Follow production schedules and processes to ensure quality control
•
Clean machines, floors, and work areas throughout the day
•
Help with shipping when needed
•
Work in a team environment with a positive attitude
•
Other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
•
Sewing experience preferred but not required
•
Quality control aware of sewing machine issues and repairs. Sewing experience preferred but not required.
•
Ability to follow processes, procedures, and follow procedures when working with others. Sewing experience preferred but not required.
•
Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude. Sewing experience preferred but not required.
•
Ability to read and understand written instructions, correspondence, production schedules, etc. preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
