OFF grid and Specialty Project Solar Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. Poly Energy is a growing renewable energy company specializing in off-grid solar power systems for homes, cabins, farms, Commercial and remote businesses. We help people achieve energy independence and reduce their reliance on the grid. As demand for self-sustaining energy solutions rises, we’re expanding our team to meet the need.

Duties

- Prospect and generate leads through networking, outreach, and inbound inquiries

- Assess customer needs and design customized off-grid solar solutions

- Educate customers on off-grid technology, battery storage, system sizing, and installation processes

- Prepare quotes and system proposals (training and tools provided)

- Close sales and coordinate with the design/installation team

- Maintain CRM records and follow up with leads consistently

- Stay informed on solar and battery technologies, incentives, and trends

Experience

- Solar Sales experience - 1 to 2 years minimum

- Strong understanding of solar PV and battery storage systems (off-grid experience a big plus)

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms

- Experience with solar design software (Aurora, Helioscope, etc.) is a plus but not required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $83,853.02 - $400,000.00 per year

Ability to Relocate:

- Roanoke, VA 24017: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
