Night Maintenance Lead

Description Position Summary

The primary function of the Maintenance Lead is to perform and communicate maintenance on conveyors, screens, crushers, and other plant equipment. The various types of maintenance are preventative, predictive, and general repair.

This position is an entry level leadership position requiring the successful candidate to assist with supervising a small crew to promote safety, perform assigned duties, delegate tasks, verify correct work procedures are followed, develop repair procedures, steel fabrication, and solve problems with little direct supervision. All standards should be communicated through stated goals, daily interaction, team meetings, provide input on employee performance evaluations, and recommend disciplinary actions.

Working Conditions

Larger equipment is typically air conditioned. There will be times when outside assignments may require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.

We are excited to share the base range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range. Therefore, hiring at the top or maximum of the range should not be expected as it would not allow for salary growth opportunities in the role, would diminish promotion value, and may not align with internal equity.
