YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Community Relations Supervisor, you will be part of the Community Relations Department. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Community Relations professional, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle.

- Assist with community relations tasks, including community and Partner Nation engagement, communications and reporting.

- Support the development, implementation and review of community related programs and partnership initiatives.

- Collaborate with operations, environment, procurement and human resources to promote respectful and mutually beneficial relationships.

- Participate in meetings, events and cultural awareness activities with Indigenous Partners and local communities.

- Contribute to compliance with agreements, commitments and regulatory requirements.

- Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.

- Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.

- Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.

- Learn to use IT management related software and tools.

- Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.

- Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional CR related certification.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Bachelor’s Degree in Indigenous Studies, Environment, Social Sciences or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate).

- Familiarity with mine planning software is considered an asset.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

Your Work Schedule:

- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office or Kirkland Lake Office.

- You must also be willingness to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site as occasional visits to site may also be required.
