Crane Operator / Forklift Operator

Responsible for operating crane to load and unload equipment. Will also help with pipe and equipment inventory around yard.

JOB DUTIES:

· Will stay on location with crane.

· Operate crane to lift, move, position and place equipment or materials.

· Operate crane to load and unload truck cargo.

· Organize and be responsible for all loads and equipment.

· Responsible for setting up other crane equipment and temporary structures so the crane can safely perform the lift.

· Inspection of goods upon delivery.

· Reporting damaged goods.

· Sorting, labeling and storing material in correct location.

· Use of forklift to move and organize pipe and equipment.

· General housekeeping of yard.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· High School education or equivalent.

· Must have NCCCO crane certification.

· 2 years of crane and forklift experience.

· Must pass DOT drug and background check.

· Strong communication skills

· Organizational and planning skills.

· Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.

· Physical requirements include: Standing and walking for long periods of time; climbing onto equipment; lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds; bending, twisting and reaching to check freight; stacking boxes; labeling.

Position is currently contracted through Absolute Energy Services for Exxon/Pioneer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
