Overview

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy equipment to facilitate the movement of materials on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

•

Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and place materials as required on-site.

•

Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.

•

Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations effectively.

•

Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios during lifting operations.

•

Perform routine maintenance on cranes and heavy equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting for wear or damage.

•

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.

•

Assist in the operation of other heavy equipment as needed, including backhoes, concrete mixers, dump trucks, and tankers.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in crane operation or heavy equipment operation is required.

•

Familiarity with various types of cranes (e.g., tower cranes, mobile cranes) is preferred.

•

Experience operating additional machinery such as farm machinery, dump trucks, concrete mixers, and backhoes is a plus.

•

Valid commercial driving license (CDL) may be required depending on the specific duties of the role.

•

Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
