T.B. Powell Crane & Rigging, LLC is now hiring NCCCO Crane Operators! Join our team of knowledgeable and highly trained crane and rigging professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operate crane to set a customer’s materials

- Install attachments such as jib and pile hammers

- Knowledge of and ability to select lifting accessories according to weight and size of load to be lifted

- Inspect crane and lifting accessories prior to each lift to prevent malfunction or damage

- Perform general labor tasks as assigned

- Safely move crane components and equipment to and from assigned job sites

- Assist with the loading and unloading of counterweight trucks and a variety of other materials specific to an assigned project

- Assist rigging crew with the set up and break down of cranes at assigned job sites

- Maintain a clean and organized work area including the cleaning and maintaining of cranes, trucks, and other equipment as assigned

- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times

- Comply with DOT rules and regulations

- Pursue opportunities for advancement through service commitment and continuing education

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Valid Driver's License Required

- CDL Class A Preferred

- CDL Class B Required

- Valid TSS and TLL CCO Certifications Required

- Current DOT Physical Required

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred

- Reliable transportation to and from work

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools

- Familiarity with general safety equipment, load charts, and hand signals

- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team and independently

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

ALL Applicants must be:

- 18 years of Age

- Able to pass a Drug Test

- Legally eligible to work in the US

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Overtime

- Weekends as Needed

Work Location: Reporting to Mullins, SC. Occasional overnight travel in and out of state is required.
