Title: Natural Gas Inspector

Location: SLC, Utah & Rock Springs, Wyoming

Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified inspectors with extensive experience in service line riser replacement and main line anode bank installation who are local to the job location. Inspectors are required to clear DOT drug screening and Background Verification, be professional in conduct and appearance.Responsibilities:Attend client-provided training on inspection requirements, including data entry, documentation, evaluations, and reviewing contractors’ operator qualification tasks.Participate in client-required field training and applicable meetings.Attend contractor safety meetings, participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and ensure safe working conditions.Inspect work and materials for compliance, report discrepancies, notify contractors of nonconformance, and complete daily Field Checklists.Study client construction documents; use supplier-provided iPads for data access and collection via the CartoPac App.Utilize line locators, depth gauges, and pyrometers for inspection tasks.Ensure all construction contractors are operator qualified.Qualifications:Experience in natural gas main and service line construction.Experience with CartoPac App and CODE2700 Bar Code ScannerExperience using Vivax VM-810 Line LocatorsGood working knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192Ability to read, understand, and execute client procedures, manuals, and specifications.

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
