Our client is looking for an experienced leader to head its national water systems practice. In this high-impact role, you’ll spearhead innovation across complex wastewater and water treatment projects, mentor and inspire technical teams, and play a key role in shaping the long-term growth strategy across the U.S. This is a rare opportunity to lead with vision, make a lasting impact, and drive excellence on a national scale.
Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
•Lead the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater treatment projects nationwide.
•Manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
•Oversee projects from proposal to closeout, focusing on technical quality and client satisfaction.
•Act as a subject matter expert on water quality, process optimization, and regulatory compliance.
•Support business growth through client engagement, proposal development, and market strategy.
•Mentor staff and lead technical training initiatives.
•Work with leadership to align water system strategies with broader infrastructure goals.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
•Experience designing and delivering water and wastewater treatment systems, ideally in a consulting environment.
•Knowledge of water quality standards, treatment technologies, and environmental regulations.
•Experience leading project teams across different locations.
•Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to various audiences.
•Experience providing training or technical guidance to teams.
•Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one preferred.
•Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via Teams or in person.
