As an Insulation and Multi-Craft Estimator for PK Industrial, you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability of our company. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for insulation, coatings, and scaffolding projects in various sectors. Your expertise in industrial soft craft systems, materials, and project management will help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to develop accurate estimates for soft craft work.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and clarify project details.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates meet project requirements and expectations.
- Provide value engineering and alternative material recommendations to improve cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost reports for project submission.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices..
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and provide accurate pricing.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in soft craft estimating for industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of soft craft materials, systems, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, MIKE or similar tools).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver quality estimates on time.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
