MODIFICATIONS AND UPGRADES APPLICATIONS ENGINEERING MANAGER (Houston, TX)

Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Modifications and Upgrades Applications Engineering Manager in Houston, TX to develop, implement, and monitor key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of applications engineering processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

- Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with the team to implement enhancements.

- Consult with subject matter experts, schedule training sessions and facilitate personal development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

- Perform performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide feedback to team members to encourage continuous improvement and career growth.

- Collaborate with the proposal management team to provide technical bid support.

- Work closely with purchasing, execution engineering, and project management teams to ensure a timely bid process and a cohesive approach to project execution.

- Provide resource support to the sales team for customer meetings, site surveys, etc.

- 10% international/domestic travel required.

What You Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience.

- Full term of experience must include: gas turbine packages focused on the aeroderivative technology;

- Software tools and technologies used in the applications engineering field (CAD, PLM systems, SAP, etc);

- Controls systems;

- Power turbines; and

- Ancillary systems used in gas turbine packages.

- 10% international/domestic travel required.
