Summary
Illuminated Telecom is seeking an experienced Mini Excavator Operator / Labor Hand to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites to facilitate the installation of telecommunications and utilities infrastructure. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
•
Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites.
•
Dig trenches and perform earthmoving tasks as required.
•
Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure project specifications are met.
•
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
•
Required: Experience as a Utilities Excavator Operator or similar role in the construction industry.
•
Required: Valid driver's license.
•
Required: Clean driving record.
•
Preferred: Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
•
Preferred: Experience with fiber infrastructure.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor repairs on equipment.
•
Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
•
Ability to follow project specifications accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
