WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A MINE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR?

As a Mine Maintenance Supervisor for Water & Pumps at Wolverine Fuels, you will be responsible for the critical task of dewatering the underground coal mine, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Your role will encompass all aspects of replacing, installing, and advancing pump installations, where your technical expertise will shine. You will also troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing invaluable solutions to keep operations running smoothly.

In addition, you will provide direct supervision to a dedicated team of 4-6 hourly hands, guiding them in their daily tasks while fostering a culture of safety and excellence. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A MINE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR- (WATER & PUMPS)

To excel as a Mine Maintenance Supervisor for Water & Pumps at Wolverine Fuels, candidates must bring a strong background as experienced coal miners, complemented by proven mechanical and electrical skills. A current MSHA U/G Electrical Certification is essential to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain operational integrity. Successful candidates will also demonstrate previous supervisory experience, showcasing a track record of effective team leadership and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with relevant tools and software used in pump installations and maintenance is crucial for transitioning seamlessly into this role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

- Must be experienced coal miner with proven mechanical and electrical skills. Must have current MSHA U/G Electrical Certification. Previous supervisor experience with proven track record is preferred.
