Mill Operator- LONESTAR, TEXAS

Texas Tubular thrives on its' ability to be primarily self-sufficient. Nowhere is that more evident than in the role of a MILL OPERATOR. This position is critical to our operation and calls for a person that is highly motivated and prideful in their work.

This position will include the below, but not limited to this list:

- Training for the assigned mill floor position. Both verbal and interactive.

- Introduction explaining the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) along with safety instructions specific to the position.

- Learning the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the position.

- Inspect machinery and workstations, including a responsibility for keeping one's area .

- Perform preventative maintenance on necessary equipment and components to ensure operations continue in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

- Working towards filling customer orders.

- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics, at an intermediate level, in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services.

- Install, test, troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, pneumatic circuits, and their control devices along with related mechanical equipment in a pipe manufacturing environment.
