Are you in? Primary Purpose: PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Direct the personnel and activities of the Human Performance and Quality Assurance departments. Assure the development and effective implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives. Assure the focus and attainment of business goals and objectives associated with Human Performance and Quality. Develop and maintain an environment that promotes safety, diversity and high productivity. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties: PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Oversee the development and implementation of short and long term strategic/tactical initiatives designed to assure the highest levels of customer services, maximize profitability and achieve safety, reliability and customer retention goals. (25%)
•Manage the overall Human Performance and Quality Assurance budget. Establish and monitor business plans and division objectives. Balance cost control with training needs and regulatory requirements. Mentor the Performance Assessment & Quality Assurance Team and to enhance fiscal literacy and discipline. (10%)
•Develop and maintain an environment that fosters a high performance culture and a learning organization. Leads Human Performance & Quality Assurance team in promoting and enhancing diverse and inclusive work culture. Serves as a change agent for safety and business initiatives and assures the human element is considered, understood and developed. Assure timely recognition of employee contributions and sponsor employee involvement team within the department. (20%)
•Provide leadership to and development of the Human Performance & Quality Assurance team. Provide accurate and timely feedback regarding performance and operations. Conducts performance review sessions with direct reports. Identifies opportunities for growth and learning and assures sound Individual Development Plan structure and adherence. (15%)
•Interface with other departments in their respective business units regarding Human Performance & Quality Assurance. Work aggressively to continually enhance Customer relationships and provide representation at all appropriate Customer forums. (20%)
•Facilitates open and honest communication with the Human Performance & Quality Assurance staff. Assures that upward communication is integrated into the process, including employee grievances and complaints. Develop methods to assess communication effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives. (10%)
Job Scope: JOB SCOPE
The Human Performance & Quality Assurance Manager utilizes communications, project management, performance management and development skills on a daily basis as he/she interfaces with their staff as well as various levels of the organization, from field employee to uppermost senior management to meet customer response for Human Performance & Quality Assurance clarifications. The individual in this job must also interface collaboratively with all areas including, but not limited to: Engineering, Support Services, Construction and Maintenance, Distribution System Operations, Customer Operations, Transmission Operations and Gas Operations. The Human Performance/Quality Assurance Manager is looked upon as the "Subject Matter Expert" and is linked into RCI, ACE, Safety Council Meetings, Business Plans, Conferences, other investigations to assist the business with their needs and concerns. In addition, the Human Performance /Quality Assurance Manager is key in the Human Performance Department as the lead in initiating and managing the successful completion of QA audits, assessments, human performance metrics, as well as overall organizational support associated with human performance. The Human Performance /Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Performance Assessment group and the investigations and trending associated with the PECO Corrective Action Program and Human Performance. Currently, the Human Performance/Quality Assurance Manager has 2 Quality Assurance Specialists and 3 Human Performance Specialists reporting directly to him/her.
Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field & 7-10 years' experience.
•Graduate Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Corporate Education & Training or related field is desirable.
•At least 3-5 years Supervisor / Manager experience
•Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements
•Proven leadership ability in a high performance culture.
•Proven high-level management skills in coaching and facilitating business competency.
•Proven performance management skills.
•Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change.
•Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including technology and performance.
•Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value .
•In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience.

•Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $114,400.00/Yr. – $157,300.00/Yr.
