Metal finisher/grinder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, experienced Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with finishing metals. As a Grinder, you will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain grinding machines, to produce precision parts according to specifications. measuring tools to ensure adherence to tolerances and specifications.

- Utilize hand tools and tooling effectively for setup and adjustments during the grinding process.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machine performance.

- Follow safety protocols

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

- Document production processes, including any adjustments made during operations.

Requirements

- Proven experience in operating grinding machines and finishing welds.

- Experience using hand tools and tooling for setup and adjustments is preferred.

- Experience grinding and finishing metals required

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
