Wasatch Covers is a busy fabrication shop looking for someone who’s ready to work hard, learn real skills, and be part of a solid team. This is a hands-on role supporting our production crew with a variety of tasks.
You’ll take a lead role in fabricating custom metal and polycarbonate products using industrial equipment such as large band saws, ironworkers, press brakes, fork lift and other metal fabrication machinery. Attention to detail and strong math and measurement skills are essential, as you’ll be reading drawings, interpreting dimensions, and making accurate adjustments on the fly. Every project is different, and you’ll be expected to think critically, work safely, and take pride in producing high-quality, custom-built components.
If you're dependable, like working with your hands, and want to get into fabrication or the trades, this is a great place to start. We’re a small shop with no corporate fluff — just a crew that works hard and enjoys 3-day weekends.
- $18-22/hr depending on experience
- 4-day work week (Mon–Thurs) — long weekends every week
- Full-time position with consistent hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 10 hours, bend, kneel, push, pull, twist, and reach above the shoulders
- Reliable transportation is required
- Note: We’re a small company and do not offer benefits — if that’s a dealbreaker, we totally understand
This is a work hard, play hard environment. We take pride in what we build, expect everyone to pull their weight, and keep things moving. Music’s on, tools are running, and there’s always something to do. You’ll stay busy and head home tired in the best way.
