Foundry Laborer - 4 day work week

Looking for hard working men and women to learn the foundry business. Responsible for the operation of continuous casting machines and related equipment. With dies provided, checks & assembles dies, coolers etc. to ensure proper operation and starting of the casting machines.

Loads furnace with correct proportions and quantities required to assure quality of melted metal.

Monitors temperature and quality of melted metal.

Dismantles set up after completion of cast. Cleans area and keeps work area in a neat and orderly condition.

Closely follows safety rules and procedures and uses protective safety equipment provided.
