JOB SUMMARY
The Medium & Light Duty Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic will maintain equipment and facilities, with emphasis on medium duty vehicles, light duty vehicles, fuel & lube trucks, forklifts, manlifts, light plants, pumps, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•
Meet physical demands of job according to the company physical demands analysis
•
Troubleshoot & repair mine-owned medium & light duty vehicles and equipment
•
Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
•
Read, interpret and apply manuals and schematics information to job
•
Maintain safe work record, be proactive in safety habits and behaviors
•
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
•
Assist in work/tasks planning and organizing
•
Communicate with maintenance management and operations personnel
•
Follow all mine safety requirements and best practices
•
Regular and predictable attendance
•
Other job assignments as requested
•
Comply with Company drug and alcohol policy
