Qualifications and/or Physical Requirements

Candidate shall possess the ability to drive various vehicles as required to perform assignments. Candidates must be self-motivated and have a good attitude and attendance record. Candidate must be able to comprehend written and spoken instructions. Candidate must possess a minimum of 1.5 years mechanical repair, assembly, or fabricating experience as well as the knowledge of the proper tools required to perform different jobs. Candidate must have the ability to read, comprehend, and follow maintenance manual procedures and extensive knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, compressors, hydraulics and welding equipment. The ability to repair welding is an asset, but not required.

Must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours. Must be able to use simple measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, etc.). Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heaving lifting. Must be able to manually work multiple levers and Knobs in association with applicable machines or equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Fundamental knowledge of electronics (CNC controls) + Fundamental knowledge of Electrical circuits and schematics + Pneumatic and hydraulic systems o Welding equipment + Mechanical Equipment o Mobile Equipment and vehicles + Forklifts + Hoists, cranes and lifts + Hand and power tools + Buildings and Grounds
