With this vision and framework in mind, our Gas & Pipelines Division is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Natural Gas Process Piping and Compression to help transform our Utility industry. This position will help achieve the group’s mission tolead decision-making that is data-driven, risk-informed, in alignment with organizational objectives, and delivers optimum value from assets and investments.
The successful candidate will perform engineering design, as well as collaborate with consultant engineers, to produce IFC deliverables to enhance the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our natural gas compression stations and salt caverns natural gas storage plant. This role demands technical expertise and a proactive approach to managing complex engineering projects. Here are a few exciting projects the team is embarking on:
Replace aged compressors, pressure control valves, and process control equipment at our salt caverns natural gas storage facility to bolster operational reliability.* Replace aged emergency shutdown equipment at compressor stations.* Replace aged plant process piping equipment or components (e.g. control valves, ESD valves, line heaters, dehy units, etc.).* Implement and trial various emissions monitoring and reduction technologies on compressor combustion and venting.*
