Mechanical Engineer - Gas

As an Engineer II at Campos EPC, you will be responsible for gas distribution, transmission, and facilities engineering and design including design criteria, material selection and equipment sizing in compliance with codes and standards. Work with customers to determine work scope requirements. Monitor and control project costs and report variance from plan. Develop change orders as required and attend and facilitate project meetings.

- Perform detailed mechanical engineering analyses and coordinate detailed designs in gas utilities field

- Communicate and coordinate project scope, budget, and schedule with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Establish mechanical design requirements.

- Conduct/coordinate design review meetings for projects assigned with internal and external stakeholders

- Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with appropriate quality standards, client standards, and industry regulatory requirements.

- Develop and coordinate construction material, design standards, and technical specifications

- Work collaboratively with leads, engineers, and peers to develop efficient and compliant design solutions.

- Assist in resolving design-related issues and providing technical support as needed.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, mechanical engineering discipline preferred.

- Must have 4-8 years of relevant engineering experience

- EIT preferred/P.E. track expected

- Experience in technical report writing, gas distribution design, gas transmission design, gas facilities design and LNG design is strongly preferred

- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Experience using the following software preferred: AutoCAD, Excel, Bluebeam.

SALARY: 90,000-115,000/YR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
