Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of innovative mechanical systems and solutions. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various engineering software and tools. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from conception through execution.

Responsibilities

•

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components using advanced engineering software.

•

Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues effectively.

•

Create detailed schematics, drafts, and documentation for mechanical designs.

•

Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical systems with electronic components.

•

Utilize tools such as Simulink, MATLAB, and LabView for system modeling and analysis.

•

Participate in system design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

•

Oversee testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications.

•

Mentor team members on best practices in mechanical design and engineering methodologies.

Skills

•

Proficiency in engineering software including SolidWorks, Creo, Simulink, MATLAB, LabView, and Arduino.

•

Strong understanding of system design principles and the ability to create detailed schematics.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.

•

Ability to draft technical documentation clearly and concisely.

•

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.

•

Proven experience in mechanical engineering projects from concept through production.
